I’m Dr. DJ Griffith, a practicing clinician, counselor educator, and consultant.
My work focuses on what happens when people are asked to stay in relationship while holding real differences. Over time, misalignment in values or meaning systems can quietly erode clarity and trust.
The Coexistence Framework grew from that tension. It is grounded in a simple premise: two non identical meaning systems can share space without collapse, domination, or self erasure. Understanding does not require agreement. Integrity does not require withdrawal.
I have led and worked within high demand behavioral health settings, which shapes how I think about burnout, leadership, and what actually sustains relational work over time.
Across therapy, supervision, and consultation, the goal is not agreement.
The goal is capacity.
